As a party people, I couldn't have asked for a better location. The hostel is right next to the bustling fish market and just a stone's throw away from the cathedral. The vibrant atmosphere of the town is right at your doorstep, making it super convenient to explore and indulge in the nightlife. The rooms are spacious and the staff is really friendly, offering great service. Plus, the breakfast spread with its variety of fruits, croissants, and coffee is a perfect way to kickstart your day.
The noise from the karaoke bar nearby can be quite loud at times, which can be a bit of a downside for those seeking a peaceful night's sleep.

The location was excellent and very central, with easy access to the main attractions. The rooftop bar area was a lovely spot to relax. The staff were generally helpful and friendly. The breakfast provided was better than most hostels, with a good variety of options. The dorm rooms had privacy curtains around the beds, which was a nice touch.
Felt very at home, no complaints at all.

The value for money was great, with well-organized rooms and a cozy atmosphere. The location was incredible, right in the heart of the city with stunning views of Mount Etna. The staff were kind and went out of their way to be helpful and make me feel welcome.
The breakfast selection could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

The location of this hostel was absolutely perfect! It was right in the middle of everything, with all the main attractions just a short walk away. We loved being able to explore the city without having to worry about transportation. Additionally, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They were always available to answer our questions and offer suggestions on what to do and see. It really made our stay much more enjoyable.
One thing that was a bit disappointing was the noise at night. Since the hostel is located in a lively area, it can get quite loud, especially on weekends.

During my Christmas stay, I really liked the friendly and helpful staff at the hotel. They were always available and ready to assist with any questions or requests I had. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect. It was situated in the heart of the city, providing easy access to all the main attractions and a vibrant atmosphere. Furthermore, the breakfast served at the hotel was delicious and offered a wide variety of options to choose from.
One aspect that I disliked about the hotel was the noise level at night. It was a bit loud, especially from the window, which made it difficult to sleep peacefully.

What an amazing experience! We randomly chose this hostel and it turned out to be incredible. The staff, who are workawayers from different countries, were so friendly and helpful. They made us feel welcome and even gave us great travel advice. The beds and lockers were decent and the rooftop had the most breathtaking view of the city and Etna. The location couldn't have been better, with everything nearby and a vibrant nightlife right outside. The showers were clean and the toilets were private and comfortable. We loved our stay at Ostello Degli Elefanti and would definitely come back again!

I had a fantastic time at Ostello Degli Elefanti! The location was perfect, right in the center of the city with plenty of things to see and do nearby. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and they even organized a day-programme for guests who hadn't made plans yet. The rooms were beautiful and spacious, and the facilities were clean. I also enjoyed the included breakfast, which was simple but delicious. The rooftop bar had stunning views and was a great place to relax. I highly recommend this hostel for a stay in Catania.
One minor drawback was having to make my own bed, but it wasn't a big hassle. Additionally, the bathroom could use some improvements, as the toilet barely flushed and it was a bit dirty.

We had a wonderful stay at Ostello Degli Elefanti. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The rooftop terrace was a real highlight, with stunning views of the city and Mount Etna. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the beautiful 19th-century building added to the charm. The breakfast, although not to my personal taste, was still enjoyable. I highly recommend this hostel for a charming and centrally located stay in Catania.

The hostel had beautiful rooms with high ceilings and frescos, which created a unique and stunning atmosphere. The location was excellent, being close to Piazza Duomo and the main bus station. The rooftop terrace offered breathtaking views of Mount Etna and the city, making it a great spot to relax.
The breakfast could have been better, especially the coffee. It would have been nice to have a proper espresso instead of just an Americano.
